Poppy Lissiman Nana Net Tote:
I bought my mom a Poppy Lissiman bag years ago —I tried to make a point that if her accessories were the main character, the outfit wouldn’t be so daunting. It worked…she still has it 5 years later and won’t let me “borrow it.” I got her this one but I reallllly love this mesh one for summer. Yes, you can see the items in your purse, but maybe it will make you carry around fewer items. It fits a wallet, sunglasses, some makeup, and some knickknacks. Again, the point is for the bag to be the star of the show, so wear it with all white or some jeans and a t-shirt. I think pink and brown is my favorite, but I could see the blue being incredibly cute at the pool.
Violette_FR Bisou Balm:
Can’t truly explain the magic of this lip color, but buy the trio and try it for yourself. It’s not quite a lipstick, not quite a balm— it’s just a VERY easy product that works on every single person I’ve met. It feels like you’re sort of painting your lips with a pastel. It gives you this very blurred, almost berry-stained lip that is very effortless for a daytime lunch OR really any time you leave the house. It’s not hydrating, so I don’t suggest using it as an actual balm.
Skims Fits Everybody Thong
I know people have strongly held opinions on underwear, but the Fits Everybody Thongs from Skims are basically unrivaled in my mind. Super durable, not too slinky, and actually grips with a no-show panty line. Sooo soft but they feel strong and not like a flimsy cloth. I wear them under workout leggings as well, and there is no seam! Just the best everyday undies— love them.
Bonzer Athletic Sunglasses
Sunglasses made for sport but look chic. Easy buy for any sweaty sport ie: tennis, running, golf, tennis, walking, etc. I love that they have a bit of a preppy vibe but are practical and grip onto your nose. Super light, made from acetate, and actually meant to play sports in. Not much more to say other than they are $100 and this shape looks good on almost any face shape.
Cosmo Cropped Pant
It’s not like easy, flowy pants ever go out of style, but we are seeing a major uptick in more textures and more colors to play with. I can’t hate on a chic lounge pant that is basically a glorified sweatpant. Vacation or dinner on the beach, out by the pool, whatever it is…you don’t have to worry about feeling sweaty, sticky, bloated. I think it’s important that the fabric has a bit of a shine if you want them to be a little more fancy! This is a very affordable version from my fav JCrew (I could do a whole wishlist on them at the moment—dm me for that). PS, I have wider hips, so I hate a tight shirt and a tied waste so I would wear a baggy knit cotton sweater or a button-down. Fun with a stripe and layered jewelry!!
Roxanne Assouline Puffy Necklace
And last but not least, I LOVE my Roxanne Assouline Puffy Initial Necklace. There is something so fun and joyous about wearing a puffy letter and charm around your neck—I have my initials, but it could be really cute with your kid’s, partner’s, etc. They started making a bunch of different types of chains (length and material) but the classic chain makes it super easy to layer or wear singular. I really like wearing a tennis necklace and another chain with mine, but it’s so easy to wear alone. You can add charms from anywhere!
